This Texas native graduated at the top of her class at the University of Texas in Galveston. Dr. Walden has now been practicing for eight years. She has been focused on cosmetic surgery, where she has performed breast lifts, face lifts, and rhinoplasties.
Each surgery can cost anywhere from $7,000 to $10,000.Dr. Walden feels like the field of plastic surgery is so male-dominated due to five years of post-medical school training and another several years of fellowships. For women, that means delay children and other important life events. In addition to delaying life, they have to prove themselves constantly compared to their male counterparts. Women need to show how excellent they are in their field.It is a benefit to being a female plastic surgeon. 91% of surgeries done in the plastic surgery field are women. Women patients are much more comfortable with a female doctor. Dr. Walden has worked hard to become the top at her game.
