Julia JacksonFamily owned businesses are all over the place. They are handed down from generation to generation, working side by side to achieve the same goal. Julia Jackson has what it takes to be the face of her family’s business. She works within the marketing department and the global sales team to introduce her family’s wines to wine lovers. One of their top selling wines is of the Bordeaux variety and everyone’s favorite Cabernet Sauvignon. Jackson Family Wines own wineries in 6 different countries. One of the wineries they own is in France, a region known for some of the best wines in the world. France is also beloved by Julia herself. Julia received her own education at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and then to Stanford Graduate School of Business to get a certificate in General Management. When Julia Jackson is not attending to her family business, she is working on helping others succeed. She founded Cambria Seeds of Empowerment in 2014. It celebrates “Warrior Women” who have struggled with hardships in life to become leaders, help others do the same. Each year, they give $100,000 in cash grants to non-profit organizations that uphold the program’s values. They are spirit, equality, and community. Julia believes women leaders are not celebrated enough in this day and age, and also in the media. The wine business is also very male dominated. At Cambria Wines they are a pure example of female empowerment where Julia and her sister Katherine are active vintners.
